Description

This Millionaire Peach Salad is a delightful and easy-to-make dessert salad perfect for potlucks, gatherings, or a sweet treat any time of year. Creamy, fruity, and studded with marshmallows and pecans, this salad is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (12-ounce) carton Cool Whip
  • 1 small (3-ounce) box peach jello
  • 2 (14-ounce) cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Cream Cheese Mixture: Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar with a hand-held mixer until smooth.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Stir in Cool Whip and dry Jello mix until well combined.
  3. Prepare Peaches: Drain peaches, reserving 2 tablespoons of syrup. Cut peaches into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Add Peaches and Syrup: Stir peaches and the 2 tablespoons of syrup into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Add Marshmallows: Stir in marshmallows until evenly distributed.
  6. Chill: Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow it to set.
  7. Add Pecans: Just before serving, stir in chopped pecans.

Notes

  • For a less sweet salad, reduce the amount of powdered sugar.
  • Feel free to substitute other fruits, such as mandarin oranges or pineapple, for the peaches.
  • You can use sugar-free Jello for a slightly healthier version.
  • For a richer flavor, toast the pecans before adding them to the salad.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
